The Tigers pulled even with the Plainsmen for the last playoff spot in the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League.

Haley Hamilton finished with 12 points and Battle Ground (5-13, 3-6) outscored host Evergreen 12-6 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

For the third game in a row, Evergreen (10-9, 3-6) played without several starters for disciplinary reasons. Plainsmen coach Jay Foreman said he will decide over the weekend whether to re-instate those players for Tuesday's final regular-season game.

Moriah Doyle led Evergreen with 13 points.
