Construction work will temporarily close two ramps along state Highway 500 in Vancouver for three nights this week. The closures will allow crews to install overhead signs at two spots, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The work will close two ramps: The onramp from St. Johns Boulevard to westbound Highway 500, and the offramp from westbound Highway 500 to Northeast 15th Avenue. The closures will begin at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights and continue until 5:30 a.m. each of the following mornings, according to WSDOT.

Marked detours will direct drivers around the closures. The work is part of a $48 million project that built a new interchange at St. Johns Boulevard and Highway 500.
