SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders sat out Wednesday night’s game against the Utah Jazz with a bruised back.

Coach Jim Boylan said a bone scan taken Wednesday morning indicated Sanders didn’t have any structural damage from the nasty fall he took Tuesday night against Denver.

Sanders is day to day and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Samuel Dalembert.

Sanders has been averaging 8.5 points and 8.5 rebounds a game for the Bucks and is the league’s leader in blocks at 3.2 per game.

Jazz swingman Gordon Hayward will miss his sixth straight game with a sprained right shoulder and backup point guard Earl Watson also is not expected to play because of bruised bone in his right leg.
