Burgerville restaurants hosted a benefit fundraiser on Thursday, with restaurants pledging to donate 20 percent of sales during the fundraiser. The participating locations are at: 11704 S.E. Share delivered 38 food packs to Crestline students to ensure that those in the Backpack Program had food for the weekend. Volunteers with Share also dropped off several bags of school supplies.
SOUTH RIDGE ELEMENTARY
South Ridge Elementary School in Ridgefield has selected Crestline Elementary for its annual Roadrunner Healing Hearts campaign. The campaign will kick off with Family Movie Night, 6:30 p.m. Friday with the movie “Hotel Transylvania.” All concession sales proceeds will be donated.
There will a coin drive competition between the grades at South Ridge, Feb. 11-14. Receptacles will be in the school’s lobby. The winning grade level will receive $300 to purchase books for their own classroom libraries and Evergreen’s foundation will receive $300 for books, plus the amount collected.
Monetary donations and new supplies will be accepted at the school.
