Mountain View cut an 18-point third-quarter deficit down to two points but could not overtake Auburn Mountainview in a Class 3A bi-district loser-out game.

Emma DuChesne scored 19 and Carly Holboke added 13 for the Thunder, who finished the season at 13-10.

“We always play hard. That’s been our calling card all year,” Mountain View coach Mat Clark said. “Even though we shot terribly, we still had a chance to win. I just wish for our seniors that we could have gotten over that hump.”
