SOCHI, Russia (AP) — Mikael Kingsbury of Canada and Hannah Kearney of the United States won World Cup mogul races at the Sochi Olympics venue on Friday.
Kingsbury, the defending World Cup champion, scored 24.96 points under pouring rain at Rosa Khutor Extreme Park for his fifth victory of the season.
American Patrick Deneen and Philippe Marquis of Canada were next.
Kearney, the Olympic champion, scored 24.74 points to lead Eliza Outtrim in an American 1-2. Aiko Uemura of Japan was third.
Kingsbury leads the standings with 605 points after seven of 12 events, 152 more than Alex Bilodeau of Canada and 184 in front of Deneen.
