Boise State beats Air Force 77-65

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Anthony Drmic scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half to lead Boise State to a 77-65 victory over Air Force on Wednesday night.

Jeff Elorriaga scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half and made five of the Broncos’ 10 3-point baskets. Derrick Marks added 11 points and nine assists for Boise State (17-8, 5-6 Mountain West).

Todd Fletcher scored 14 points and Taylor Broekhuis added 11 for the Falcons. Air Force (15-10, 6-6) standout Michael Lyons, who scored a career-best 45 points in the Falcons’ loss to Colorado State on Feb. 16, had only 10 points on 2-of-9 shooting.

Elorriaga had 14 first-half points as Boise State took a 35-34 halftime lead.

The Broncos began the second half by making their first six field-goal attempts during an 18-4 surge to take a 15-point lead on Drmic’s 3-pointer with 15:23 to play.

Boise State’s largest lead was 21.
