An online survey has been posted to help assess how much residents know about the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. The nonprofit animal shelter worked with a team from Leadership Clark County to develop the short questionnaire, which asks respondents for their views, opinions and experiences regarding the shelter at 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave.”During the past year, we have been reaching out to our community to find out more about their impressions of their local Humane Society,” said Stacey Waddell, interim executive director. “This survey will help assess where we are and allow us to refine our marketing and communications strategies.”

The survey should take about five minutes to complete. It is online at Humane Society for Southwest Washington.

A six-person team from Leadership Clark County’s 2012-2013 class paired with the Humane Society for Southwest Washington for its community project, a requirement for graduating from the leadership program.

Leadership Clark County was founded in 1993 to provide an opportunity for citizens to gain community knowledge and leadership skills.
