Volunteers sought to set up West Vancouver Tool Library in Rose Village home

Rose Village — The West Vancouver Tool Library, a handy idea in search of a good home, has found one at last. According to the latest Rose Village Neighborhood Association newsletter, the lending library for hand, power and gardening tools will live at the back of a house owned by, and just west of, the Calvary Baptist Church at 2400 E. Fourth Plain Blvd. Americans Building Community, a neighborhood redevelopment effort, has been nursing the tool library concept along for years, and now is eager to recruit volunteers to make it happen — setting up shelves, moving tools in and planning what comes next. To get involved, call Mark Maggiora at 360-992-9969 or write mark@abcinc.us.
