SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) — Frankie Dobbs scored 24 points and surpassed 1,000 in his career, and Bryant pulled away in the second half to beat Quinnipiac 103-95 on Thursday night in Northeast Conference play.

Dyami Starks had 20 points, Alex Francis 16, Corey Maynard 14 and Vlad Kondratyev 13 for the Bulldogs (10-4, 3-0), who guaranteed their first 10-win season since joining Division I in 2008.

Bryant shot 63.2 percent from beyond the arc (12 of 19) to Quinnipiac’s 25 percent (3 of 12) and outscored the Bobcats 23-10 from the foul line.

Quinnipiac closed to 64-68 on Drame’s jumper with 10:52 to go, but the Bulldogs ran off 10 consecutive points for a 78-64 lead at 8:34 on the strength of three layups from Kondratyev and were never threatened.
