ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — Detroit Lions long snapper Don Muhlbach has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl team.

Muhlbach becomes the first Lions specialist to make the Pro Bowl without kicking, punting or returning. His performance this season helped kicker Jason Hanson break the team’s single-season scoring record with 134 points.

With Muhlbach snapping, Hanson is 81 of 107 for his career from 40 or more yards and 25 of 37 from 50 or more.

Muhlbach was added by Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy and the Packers’ staff, who are serving as this year’s NFC staff.
