Girls basketball: Woodland 52, Stevenson 34

Kendall Grell scored 10 of her 18 points in the third quarter to help the host Beavers pull away from the Bulldogs in the Class 1A Trico League game.

Woodland outscored Stevenson 18-7 during the third quarter to build on its seven-point halftime lead.

Grell also pulled down nine rebounds for Woodland (14-1, 12-1). Jessica Flanagan added 10 points and three assists, and Sidra malik had four steals and four assists.

For Stevenson (7-7, 6-6), Clare Chapman scored 12 points and Courtney Bradley 11.
