Letter: Beware loss of your firearms

For those advocates of severely restricted gun laws, especially President Obama, Vice President Biden, and members of Congress, they would all do well to remember back some 240 years ago.
Back then, the British attempted to restrict and take away the firearms that the people here owned. That was one of the reasons for the American Revolution. How did that turn out for the British?
