Utah State ends losing streak, beats Idaho 77-67

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Jarred Shaw had 27 points and nine rebounds Thursday night and Utah State snapped a four-game losing streak, beating Idaho 77-67.

Shaw made 12 of 15 shots from the field for the Aggies (15-5, 6-4 WAC), who shot 60 percent from the field as a team.

Marcel Davis scored 16 points and Spencer Butterfield had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Utah State, which never trailed in the game.

Four Vandals were in double figures in points. Connor Hill and Stephen Madison had 14 points apiece for Idaho (8-12, 4-6), Robert Harris scored 13 and Kyle Barone had 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

Utah State won the teams’ earlier meeting, 82-75 in overtime in Logan, Utah.
