The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In May, the Medical Commission dismissed a case against physician Susan Zulke Hughes. Allegations that Zulke Hughes committed unprofessional conduct were unproven.

In May, the Nursing Assistant Program charged certified nursing assistant Alisha Lahela Miner with unprofessional conduct. Miner allegedly stole about $300 from a resident at a facility where she worked. The Department of Social and Health Services in a preliminary finding determined she financially exploited a vulnerable adult.

On June 19, the Oregon State Board of Nursing suspended Brenda L. Hanson’s registered nurse license for 30 days, to be followed by 36 months of probation, for unauthorized removal of drugs from the workplace, and possessing unauthorized drugs. She resides in Vancouver.
