PORTLAND — It’s going to be a busy day at the Portland International Airport.

KATU-TV reports hundreds of travelers were rerouted through the Portland airport after the crash in San Francisco.

Among those was Leslie Bishop, who had planned to arrive in Hawaii on Saturday. But her travels were delayed in Portland. She and her kids were on a flight from London to San Francisco on their way to see her husband who is in the Navy.

They were stuck in Portland for the night. But Bishop says she is grateful she wasn’t on the plane that crashed, and happy to be booked on a Hawaiian Airlines flight on Sunday.
