TORONTO (AP) — Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti have swept the front row for Sunday’s race in Toronto.

The Target Chip Ganassi racing teammates were in opposite groups in Saturday’s qualifying session. Franchitti took the top spot in the first group and was bumped to second by Dixon during the second group.

Helio Castroneves qualified third and was followed by Ryan Hunter-Reay and Will Power.

Power grazed the wall during the second group and a banner got snagged under his car during his qualifying lap. It eventually flapped off but landed on the nose of Sebastian Bourdais’ car. At roughly the same time, James Jakes slammed into a tire barrier as the session came to an interesting end.

The Ganassi drivers, meanwhile, are on a roll after sweeping the podium at Pocono last weekend.
