Letter: Money is password for approval

Have you picked up on the new mantra — “It means new jobs” — applied to unpopular projects, currently oil and coal terminals and shipments at the Port of Vancouver?

What they are really saying is “It means a ton of money in our pockets.”

Give the public what they want to hear, and they’ll buy it every time.
