Letter: Faster ways to travel than light rail

The Columbian
Published: June 9, 2013, 5:00pm

I keep reading letters promoting the Columbia River Crossing light-rail option. Most have some reference relating to being a “fast” way to get to Portland. Have any of these people ever ridden the light rail from the Expo Center to downtown Portland? That continually stopping train through North Portland is anything but “fast.”
