Arrest made in Battle Ground thefts

A Battle Ground man was arrested Wednesday in connection with multiple thefts from vehicles.

Over the last couple of weeks, 11 residents have had GPS units, a handgun and other belongings stolen from their vehicles.

Joshua Maltby, 18, was booked into the Clark County Jail on Wednesday on suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm. Police have identified at least one outstanding juvenile suspect and are continuing their investigation. The handgun and several of the GPS units were recovered during the investigation.
