Letter: Madore changes are unreasonable

Clark County Commissioner David Madore continues his escapades, which are continuing to drive nails in his own coffin. His latest demand to take 30-minute breaks between sessions to “mentally digest information” once again shows his ignorance of the basic requirements of the job. Instead of a screed detailing yet another travesty in his actions, I ask the “commissioner” just how long he would endure a key member of his personal corporate management team attending a meeting as ill-prepared as his continuing record evidences?

Madore may be the “boss” of his corporation, but, he is not the “king” of Clark County. He is an employee of the citizens and is expected to have the expertise and capabilities to properly execute his responsibilities without a major staff at his command. It is time for him to consider the two “Rs” — resign or recall.
