THE LIFE OF CHRIST: An event portraying the life of Jesus will be presented from 12:30 to 5:45 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9728 N.E. 50th Ave. The church hall will be transformed into Israel, with 13 backdrops/vignettes depicting scenes from the New Testament story of the life of Jesus. CANTORES IN ECCLESIA: A choir will perform at 3 p.m. for Palm Sunday. The concert, “Lamentatio: Music for Holy Week,” features Thomas Tallis’ Lamentations of Jeremiah and motets by Caldara, Giles, Lassus, Palestrina and Purcell.
