A woman was injured in a rear-end collision on state Highway 502 at Northeast 37th Street in Battle Ground Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4:10 p.m., a Chrysler 300 headed eastbound on Highway 502 stopped to make a left turn. A Honda Accord, also eastbound, rear-ended the Chrysler, which was pushed forward about 60 feet, said Battalion Chief Tim Dawdy, spokesman for Clark County Fire & Rescue.

The driver of the Chrysler was transported to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center for neck and back pain, said Trooper Will Finn, spokesman for the Washington State Patrol. A man driving the Honda and his passenger refused treatment.

Both lanes of the highway were blocked for about 30 minutes, clogging rush-hour traffic, Finn said.

The State Patrol is investigating this incident. Names of those involved were not available.
