LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Ryan Villopoto swept the 450 class motos Saturday at Thunder Valley Motocross Park to remain perfect after two rounds in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

Villopoto, the Monster Energy Kawasaki star from Poulsbo, Wash., also swept the motos last week in the season-opening Hangtown event in California.

At Thunder Valley, Villopoto beat Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey by 10.2 seconds in the first moto, and edged Dungey by 6.9 seconds in the second. Justin Barcia was third overall, finishing third in the first moto and fourth in second.

Eli Tomac, the GEICO Honda rider from Cortez, Colo., won the 250 division, finishing second in the first moto and winning the second. Ken Roczen, the Hangtown winner, was second after winning the first moto and finishing third in the second.

The riders wore “Oklahoma Strong” stickers to honor the tornado victims.
