INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Joelito won the $54,500 feature by a half-length at Betfair Hollywood Park on Thursday.
Ridden by Joe Talamo, Joelito ran a mile on the turf in 1:34.35 and paid $4.40, $3 and $2.20 as the 6-5 favorite.
Unbridled Giant returned $6.20 and $3, while Horizon Sky was another half-length back in third and paid $2.60 to show.
The victory, worth $32,400, increased Joelito’s career earnings to $91,607, with two wins in six starts. Both victories came on turf.
