The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In September, the Nursing Assistant Program charged certified nursing assistant Sergey V. Gensitskiy with unprofessional conduct. In 2012, Gensitskiy was convicted of multiple sex crimes.

In September, the Nursing Commission denied a licensed practical nurse credential to Dawn LeAnne Thompson after she was unable to provide a witness from her nursing school that she could practice safely.

In June, the Chemical Dependency Professional Program denied a chemical dependency professional trainee credential to Sean William Martin. In 2009, Martin was convicted of driving while intoxicated. In 2011 he was convicted of second-degree driving while license suspended or revoked. In 2012 he was convicted of first-degree criminal trespass -- domestic violence, and fourth-degree assault -- domestic violence.
