Letter: No time but the present to meet

The Columbian

I read in the Nov. 7 “Around the area: Rivers, Pike to reschedule Saturday town hall,” that Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas, and Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, canceled their town hall meeting at the Camas library because they are too busy. Excuse me, they are too busy to answer questions from the constituents who elected them to office? We deserve to have them answer questions regarding the districts they are elected to represent. Because they are ” too busy” now, I doubt very sincerely that they will ever find the time to actually reschedule.
