ROME (AP) — Patrick Hickey has been re-elected president of the European Olympic Committees, while Sebastian Coe has won a spot on the executive body.

Hickey, an IOC member from Ireland, was the only candidate for president and won a third four-year term.

Coe, who organized the 2012 London Olympics and is president of the British Olympic Association, was one of 17 candidates vying for 12 spots on the executive committee.

The other 11 elected to the board were: Hasan Arat (Turkey), Alejandro Blanco (Spain), Spyros Capralos (Greece), Frantisek Chmelar (Slovakia), Alexander Kozlovsky (Russia), Andrzej Krasniki (Poland), Zlatko Matesa (Croatia), Niels Nygaard (Denmark), Marc Theisen (Luxembourg), Michael Vesper (Germany) and Efraim Zinger (Israel).

Janez Kocijancic of Slovenia (vice president) and Raffaele Pagnozzi of Italy (secretary general) were re-elected unopposed.
