EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Dallas Cowboys safety J.J. Wilcox was being evaluated for a head injury suffered in the first half against the New York Giants on Sunday.

It was not clear whether Wilcox was hurt late in the first quarter or early in the second. He was on the field when the Giants started a field goal drive late in the quarter. His injury was announced after the kick early in the second.

The Cowboys also say that punt and kickoff returner Dwayne Harris has a hamstring injury. His return is questionable.

New York center Jim Cordle hurt a knee late in the drive and was replaced by left guard Kevin Boothe. James Brewer took over at left guard.
