STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State’s quarterback situation is uncertain again.

Cowboys coach Mike Gundy says both J.W. Walsh and Clint Chelf will be prepared for Iowa State, and the starter will be revealed at game-time.

Walsh has been starting since the second game of the season for the Cowboys (5-1, 2-1 Big 12), but a poor performance in last Saturday’s 24-10 win against TCU led to Clint Chelf replacing him.

Chelf started the opener against Mississippi State, after he and Walsh competed for the job all preseason. He threw an interception on his first play from scrimmage against TCU and finished 10 for 25 for 178 yards.

Walsh was 9 for 18 for 115 yards and two interceptions against TCU.
