A man is in custody after police say he threatened a roommate at a Lincoln neighborhood house early Thursday.

Police were called about 6:30 a.m. to 608 E. 39th St. to a report of someone who brandished a weapon. Richard A. Hall, 37, allegedly got into an argument with his roommate and threatened him with a handgun, according to Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department.

A brief standoff with police ensued. Kapp said that Hall took a little while to exit the house but eventually walked onto the porch, where officers took him into custody.

Hall was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on a charge of felony harassment domestic violence. The gun turned out to be a BB gun that looked like a handgun.
