SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — AT&T’s U-verse is carrying a trio of Pac-12 television networks under an agreement with the conference.

The deal announced Saturday immediately made three channels — the Pac-12 Network, Pac-12 Bay Area and Pac-12 Los Angeles — available on U-verse ahead of a full slate of football games. The sponsorship agreement also makes AT&T the exclusive wireless provider for the Pac-12’s athletic venues.

The deal provides another option for fans with DirecTV, which has been unable to reach an agreement with the one-year-old network.

Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott said in a statement that having U-verse “in our corner is a big win for the Pac-12 and Pac-12 Networks.”
