SEATTLE (AP) — Some of the loudest NFL fans in the country are attempting to become the loudest in the world.

This Sunday, Seattle Seahawks fans will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for loudest roar at a stadium, which was set in 2011 in Turkey at a soccer match.

The record is 131.76 decibels.

Fan organizer and former player Joe Tafoya says Seahawks fans are already loud, so they’ll be recording throughout the game. The attempt is being organized by Tafoya’s Volume 12, a Seahawks fan group.

Seahawks fans are already known to be noisy, but on Sunday the game will be against the division rival San Francisco 49rs. The game is a sell-out.
