GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Sawyer Kollmorgen led Northern Iowa to a runaway 32-7 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday, throwing for 242 yards and a touchdown.

Kollmorgen connected with Chad Owens for a 7-yard touchdown late in the first quarter to give Northern Iowa (3-0) a lead it would hold over Northern Colorado (1-3) for the rest of the game.

Darius Graham cut Northern Colorado’s lead to 13-7 in the third quarter with a 4-yard touchdown run. But Northern Iowa responded on the following possession with an 86-yard scoring drive, culminating in an 18-yard touchdown run by David Johnson. Johnson finished with 121 yards rushing, while Tyler Sievertson kicked four field goals and Diondre Hall returned a fourth-quarter interception 40 yards for a touchdown.

Northern Colorado’s offense struggled. Tim Tancik, who threw for 209 yards, was picked off twice by the Panthers. Tromaine Dennis rushed for 71 yards on 15 carries.
