The Vancouver Farmers Market has decided to close the market for the weekend of September 28th, 2013. The Market prides itself on being open rain or shine to its customers, but with forecasted winds from 15-20 MPH and gusts up to 40 MPH it is only prudent for the safety of the customers and vendors that we shut down for this weekend. Under heavy wind conditions, tents become very unstable and may blow into the market causing injury to customers and damaging vendor products. Our first priority is customer and vendors safety and we want to make sure we have taken every step possible to ensure that.

The Vancouver Farmers Market will continue its season next Saturday from 9:00 – 3:00 and Sunday from 10:00 – 3:00 and will remain open through the final weekend in October. More information can be found at www.vancouverfarmersmarket.com or by emailing info@vancouverfarmersmarket.com. For up to the minute information refer to the markets facebook page at www.facebook.com/vancouverfarmersmarket
