Investigators are following up on leads in what they’ve determined to be an intentionally set fire at a mobile home in Vancouver’s North Image neighborhood.
The fire was reported at 9:13 p.m. Thursday in Sifton Garden Mobile Estates, 5900 N.E. 131st Ave., according to emergency dispatch logs.
Firefighters brought the fire under control by 9:30 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the American Red Cross was asked for assistance.
The owner of the mobile home was not home during the fire, which caused $10,000 worth of damage, Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli said.
Investigators stayed on the scene for more than four hours Thursday night collecting evidence for what has been ruled arson, Scarpelli said.
