Wander, Ponder, Prune:

How to gain more plants for your flower beds: 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 6 at Pacific Park Natural Demonstration Area, Northeast 18th Street and Northeast 172nd Avenue. Master Gardeners tour of Oregon’s Mid-Valley: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 18. Depart from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, 9319 N.E. Highway 99. The tour will go to Broadacres Nursery in Aurora, Ore., Big Al’s Garden Center and the last stop will be Little Prince of Oregon, a wholesale grower of perennials, N.W. natives, ground covers and more.
