Letter: A greater life gained through giving

The Columbian
Published: August 28, 2014, 5:00pm

What an absolutely refreshing article in The Columbian on Aug. 21 titled “Historic farm’s crops feed hungry: Volunteers harvest Bob Buker’s corn for Clark County Food Bank.” I am so sick and tired of the daily dominance of news and reviews about the great growers and marketers of marijuana. Bob Buker is my kind of hero. Without any fanfare or showmanship he has dedicated his life to helping the unfortunate.

The cannabis path to prosperity is filling the pockets of a few but the broad way to the poor house is affecting the greater of Washington’s citizenry.
