OREGON CITY, Ore. — A Portland man suspected in a series of bank robberies in the Portland area was arrested Thursday afternoon following the latest holdup.
Members of a U.S. Marshals Service task force located the 27-year-old man, Narong Duangchathom, and recovered evidence from the robbery.
He matches the description of a suspect in three robberies in November and was wanted on an arrest warrant obtained by the FBI Safe Streets task force.
He’s held in the Clackamas County Jail while deputies and Portland police complete their investigation.
