EUGENE, Ore. — The union reports that bargainers for the University of Oregon and striking graduate teaching assistants are negotiating Tuesday.
Spokesman Justin Buchanan says bargaining that lasted until 2 a.m. Tuesday didn’t produce an agreement.
But the two sides agreed to meet again beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
They are divided over pay and medical and parental leave.
The strike is in its eighth day and comes as students are taking final exams.
