Pacific Continental Bank said Friday it has signed an agreement to occupy a newly constructed building at the corner of Sixth and Main streets in downtown Vancouver.

The new facility, to be developed by Vancouver-based Killian Pacific, will “create a much larger space than the current office and will feature modern technology and sustainable environmental elements,” according to a news release.

The bank plans to occupy the new building in the first quarter of 2016 and will move all employees from its current office, at 911 Main St., to the new facility. The bank will occupy the ground floor of the new building. Construction on the new facility is expected to begin early next year.

Based in Eugene, Ore., Pacific Continental Bank, a subsidiary of Pacific Continental Corporation, has 14 banking offices in Oregon and Washington. It also operates two loan production offices.
