Letter: Christmas message appreciated

The Columbian
Published: December 29, 2014, 4:00pm

I want to take time to thank The Columbian for the wonderful Christmas display and editorial cartoon on the Opinion page on Dec. 25. The editorial recounted “Classic ode to Christmas: ‘Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus’ still powerful defense of season’s meaning.” It allowed us to remember the excitement of Christmas morning with Santa on our minds. Then it moved on to the real reason we celebrate Christmas. I do not hesitate to say “Merry Christmas” and “May God bless each and everyone of you.” Good job.
