Klamath Falls, Ore.-based door and window manufacturer Jeld-Wen Inc. has a new president and CEO.

Kirk Hachigian will move next month from chairman of the board of directors to become CEO and president of the corporation.

He takes over from Philip Orsino, who has led the privately held company since the 2011 takeover by Onex Corp. Orsino remains as a corporate vice chairman.

In the past year, Jeld-Wen has closed manufacturing plants in Iowa and Virginia and established a new North American headquarters in Charlotte, N.C. It retains global financial operations and some manufacturing in Klamath Falls.
