Boys basketball: Battle Ground 63, Washougal 33

Jamie Ford came close to outscoring the Panthers, leading the Tigers to a 30-point win.

Ford connected on 7 of 13 3-pointers and finished with 31 points. He also had six steals and seven rebounds.

Trailing by one after the first quarter, the Tigers outscored Washougal 43-16 in the second and third periods.

Devin Johnson added 13 points and nine rebounds for Battle Ground. Damien Ford had six assists.

Ryan Taylor led Washougal with 14 points.
