Girls basketball: Washougal 61, Mountain View 40

Alyssa Blankenship had 13 points and nine rebounds as Washougal won the non-league matchup.

An 18-6 third-quarter advantage helped Washougal (8-3) surge ahead.

Crystal Chase added 11 points and four assists, and Mackenzie Pfiefer came off the bench to add six points and five rebounds for the Panthers.

Christina Lundy’s 11 points led Mountain View (3-9) in scoring.
