BOSTON (AP) — Right-hander Burke Badenhop and the Boston Red Sox have agreed to a $2.15 million, one-year contract, a raise from $1.57 million.

Badenhop, 30, was 2-3 with a 3.47 ERA in 63 relief appearances last year for Milwaukee, which traded him to Boston on Nov. 22 for minor league pitcher Luis Ortega.

The deal, which is not guaranteed, was announced by the Red Sox on Wednesday night. He had filed for salary arbitration earlier in the week.
