Bejarano shoots Colorado St past Air Force, 74-68

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Daniel Bejarano drilled back-to-back 3-pointers to give Colorado State the lead and push the Rams to a 74-68 win over rival Air Force Saturday.

The Rams’ leading long-range shooter, Bejarano gave Colorado State a 65-64 lead with 2:04 left, then upped it to a 68-64 with 1:15 left. The Rams were 4 of 8 from the free throw line to close out the win, their 38th in 48 games all-time against Air Force in Fort Collins.

Bejarano finished with 27 points and nine rebounds to lead Colorado State (12-7, 3-3 Mountain West), hitting 8 of 18 shots from the field but was 5 of 10 from long range. J.J. Avila scored 21 points and Joe De Ciman added 11.

Max Yon scored 23 points to lead Air Force (9-8, 3-3), with Marek Olesinski adding 18 points and nine rebounds and Kamryn Williams 16 points and seven boards.
