Girls basketball: Kalama 46, La Center 41

Behind 14 points from Kaelyn Shipley and 13 points from Parker Esary, Kalama was able to outlast La Center.

The key for turning point was an 18-7 second quarter by Kalama when they were able to use their size advantage on the boards and get putbacks.

La Center gots within three points after the third quarter but the Wildcats were unable get much closer in the fourth.

La Center was led by Katie Hebdon, who finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Katie Whitten who added 15 points and five assists.
