Boys basketball: Battle Ground 55, Heritage 19

Jeff Moran scored 10 points and dished out four assists filling in for the injured Jamie Ford to help the Tigers defeat visiting Heritage on Friday.

Battle Ground’s defense was instrumental in the win, setting a school record for fewest points allowed.

Battle Ground’s Devin Johnson finished with double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Amel Mekic led Heritage with 11 points.
