The final night of the 44th annual Vancouver Rodeo will feature all eight cowboy competitions, from rough-stock events to roping contests, along with crowd favorite mutton-busting. There also will be a community dance after the rodeo.

When: Gates open at 5 p.m., rodeo starts at 7 tonight.

Where: Clark County Saddle Club, 10505 N.E. 117th Ave., Vancouver.

Admission: $10 to $25, $8 to $23 for seniors, military members, and ages 7 to 12, free for ages 6 and younger. $5 for parking.

The rodeo is among many options for getting out and about this weekend. Here are some other options:

2. Memorial run

The Jackie Cy Felida 5K run will honor Jackson Cy Watson and the work of local first responders. The 5K run and 1-mile kids fun run and event will include family activities, food and a raffle. All proceeds will benefit Fire District 6, for the purchase of a robotic fire engine yhat will be used to teach children fire safety.

When: 9 a.m. Sunday.

Admission: $30 to $40, $15 for kids run.

3. Perfect for motor heads

Automobiles will sparkle in the sun this week. The ninth annual Camas Car Show will feature classic and specialty cars lining the streets of downtown Camas. The event includes live music by Bluez Cruizer and car awards, including Best in Show and People’s Choice. The show is open to all cars, with day-of registration starting at 1 p.m. Food donations are encouraged for the Camas Washougal Treasure House Food Bank.

When: 4 to 8:30 p.m. today.

Admission: Free, $15 for car registration.

At the Northwest Street Rod Nationals Plus, more than 1,600 specialty cars will be on display in a showcase of street rods, custom cars, restored muscle cars and touring cars from across the United States. There will be a vintage parts swap meet, model car display, kids activities and automotive vendors.

When: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Where: Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield.

Admission: $15, $6 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and younger. There is a $2 discount for active military members and seniors.

4. Friendship & extraterrestrials

Best friends Tuck (Brian Bradley), Alex (Teo Halm) and Munch (Reese Hartwig) stumble upon a mysterious signal being sent to their phones. The trio, armed with cameras to document their adventure, sets out into the Nevada desert. They unearth Echo, a metallic alien, stranded on Earth. “Earth to Echo” is rated PG.
